Hi, thank you for being here. My name is William Reyes, and I was born in Honduras, a country where telling stories is sometimes an act of faith. Since I was a child, I've been fascinated by silently observing the world: the gestures, the contradictions, the small details that often go unnoticed. Over the years, I realized that my way of engaging with the world was through film.
Directing, writing, producing… for me, these aren't just jobs; they're constant attempts to connect with others. My films, projects, and workshops are born from a very personal need: to give voice to what has been ignored, to give space to those who have been made invisible, to celebrate the beauty of everyday life, and also to confront our most intimate truths.
I've been fortunate to work with Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities, with talented youth, and with teams that believe in the power of a well-told story. Each project is a quest, a risk, a conversation.
This website exists to share what I do, but also who I am: someone who deeply believes in the transformative power of art, in the importance of representation, and that beautiful and universal things can be achieved from Honduras.
Thank you for reading, for watching, for following.
With love,
William Reyes
